High Gain 5GHz Grid Antenna

High Gain 5GHz antenna Due to customer demand for high-gain 5GHz grid antennas we have produced the GA5833 series.  The antenna features aluminium grid construction with a gain of 33dBi at 5.8GHz.  Models are also available for 5.4GHz.

The main features are:

  • High gain 5.8GHz grid antenna
  • 33dBi
  • Excellent front-back ratio
  • Screw adjustable in azimuth and elevation
  • Surface-treated aluminium grid

Two Axis Mounts

P180-Panel-antenna Aligning antennas can be demanding, particularly when you’re dealing with high gain, 5GHz antennas with a narrow beam width.  Many antenna mounting kits make granular adjustment difficult.  To alleviate these issues PacSat has developed a range of mounts with screw adjustment in both azimuth (bearing) and elevation.

Main features are:

  • Screw adjustment in both elevation and azimuth
  • aluminium or galvanized steel construction depending upon size
  • locking mechanism once alignment is optimized
  • rigid support for the antenna

The Two-Axis Mounts are recommended for PacSat’s 5GHz 30dBi and 33dBi range of antennas.

This mount can be ordered as an optional extra with antennas.

New 5.8GHz Solid Parabolic Dish Range

PacSat has launched a new range of 5.8GHz solid parabolic dishes.
Solid dishes have a number of advantages over parabolic grids — particularly in high traffic environments:

Despite these advantages  solid dishes are not frequently deployed at 2.4GHz as the size required to achieve moderate gain can create unacceptable wind-loads on masts.  At 5.8GHz the size of the dishes is less of a problem.
PacSat’s range of solid parabolic dishes now includes 21dBi, 24dBi, 27dBi and 36dBi models.
The key features of the three new models are:
