CASE STUDY
CFOL Links
Wireless Point to Point Link

Customer Requirement:
The customer was moving into a new office over a 6 month period during which they needed to provide seamless connectivity including VoIP services between the two sites. Specific requirements were:
  • True TCP/IP throughputs better than 100Mbps
  • High levels of availability
  • Low cost
The Solution:
The customer used two SAF CFOL high-speed radios at each site to provide two completely independent links providing up to 70Mbps each.  The links are using the lower part of the 5GHz class-licensed spectrum to avoid congestion issues. Each link is managed by a switch to route traffic over both links and automatically route traffic in the event of an equipment failure.  All equipment is backed up by a UPS for protection in the event of a power failure.

The Result:
The solution was installed and operational within two days. The links are both working flawlessly. Click here for more details on the CFOL-05-23 or contact us.
